WE WERE A SMALL BREWERY WITH A BIG VISION, SERVING QUALITY BELGIAN BREWS RIGHT OUR OF OUR GARAGE AT HOME!
While we’re no longer serving beers out of our garage, we’re still passionate about serving the best possible Belgian brews on offer in Australia.
We believe every beer has a story, and we can’t wait to share ours with you. From Belgium to the Australian coast, the Madocke story is a simple one – we’re Belgian born beer brewers, living right here on the beautiful Gold Coast. We’re here to share our rich Belgian beer culture, traditions and techniques with the best beer drinkers in the world – you! That’s True Blue Belgian beers, brewed for True Blue beer drinkers.
Did you know The Belgian Beer Culture dates back to at least the age of the 1st crusades in the 12th Century? and Belgian Beer Culture is listed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity? And that the diversity of a traditional Belgian beer is the result of many factors such as brewing process, colour, texture, method of fermentation, yeasts used, basic ingredients, and knowledge of traditions handed down for centuries?
Yep, that's just why we love them! But most important of all, we just want to let you have a taste of our heritage, the place where we were born, our traditions and of course, the complex flavours & the richness of our beers. Made with passion right here in sunny Gold Coast QLD, Australia. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

A STORY IN
EVERY BEER
Our name Madocke is inspired by the title of a lost story of a famous Belgian Poet, who went on to write the famous Belgian tales of Reynard the fox – a clever, cunning, sympathetic hero.
The ‘Reynard the Fox’ stories represent the triumph of craft over brute strength, and we think our beers share the same sentiment. We know you‘ll appreciate the craft, passion and story in each of our beers.
While Reynard has served as inspiration for us, he’s also inspired many other tales, from the famous Robin Hood to The Fantastic Mr. Fox! If you enjoy a couple of our beers, we’ve no doubt that he’ll inspire a few tales of your own – Proost!
