The name tripel was generally used for the strongest beer in a monastery's repertoire. The story goes that barrels were traditionally marked with X's to signify strength, and three X's would be for the tripel. Our tripel is not our strongest, but many agree it’s our tastiest – we’ll let you be the judge of that! This Belgian Style Tripel is a unique full body, full strength beer. It is a complex gold/amber coloured beer with a creamy head, fruity aroma and notes of vanilla and banana.
